You HAVE to be kidding!
So - I am enrolling tonight. Online. Woo for 21st century technology, right? Well - no.
I have to enroll in three classes. One of them comprises a two day workshop on either Tuesday and Wednesday, or Thursday and Friday. Another one has lectures on Tuesday and Friday.
See what my problem is? Ahah - you’re the smart ones! There is a clash. A clear honking CLASH that means I can’t enrol in the frickin’ class I need to enrol in. So even before I have started, I have to sort something out.
I’m not sure I get it. Why is this so hard?? Didn’t someone sit down and say "Let’s pretend we’re a student and have to try to enrol…" *before* putting the program up?

I’m secretly pleased (but nevertheless very sympathetic) that even Uni of SA manages beurocratic cock-ups in the order of my school too
Perhaps it’s endemic to midwifery education? The good stuff will outweigh the bad… Just wait till you start practicing leopold maneuvers on real, live pregnant women. It’s SO wonderful.
So you’ll be sneaking into home births and not telling school, right?

Bwahaha - that’s right! Oh for the days when you signed up for a specialist course, and were just *given* your timetable because the classes you were doing were unique and specific and general only to your course!!
